The Technical Lead will join the server team responsible for a multi-component management console with background jobs, large-scale data processing, REST APIs, and a web UI.
The product uses Go, VueJS, Linux, containers, open-source components, on-premise customer deployments, and SaaS components.
Workplace
- The role requires working from the Aqua Hyderabad office at least four days per week, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Develop features across SQL, business logic, background processes, REST APIs, and web-based user interfaces.
- Design and build distributed systems and microservices with efficient inter-service communication.
- Build and maintain APIs while owning backward-compatibility decisions.
- Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services, serverless components, and event-driven architectures.
- Use GenAI development tools to improve productivity, code reviews, architecture, and engineering workflows.
Core requirements
- At least 9 years of hands-on engineering experience delivering features for large-scale distributed applications.
- Proven experience designing and building multi-component systems or microservices.
- Strong programming experience in Go, Node.js, Java, or a similar high-level language.
- Experience building and maintaining REST or RPC APIs.
- Production-grade AWS experience is required.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience are required.
Technical skills
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and complex queries.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automated provisioning, and cloud-native infrastructure design.
- Familiarity with AI-supported observability, predictive alerting, data analysis, or intelligent root-cause analysis.
- Kafka, OpenShift, graph databases, and AI-supported infrastructure tooling are advantageous.
