Technical Lead / Senior Developer - Software Development

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of ETL, API, and Lambda/Kafka solutions.
• Validate BSA stories and integration approaches for SOAP services.
• Own architecture and technical quality.
• Drive technical design decisions while balancing business requirements, system constraints, and long-term sustainability.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, performance, and reliability standards.
• Oversee delivery across design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute hands-on to critical frontend and backend components as needed.
• Drive code quality, testing strategies, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, DevOps, and business stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Lead and mentor developers and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Act as the primary technical interface between client stakeholders and the delivery team.

Must Have

• 7+ years of development experience.
• Strong AWS and Kafka experience.
• Experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technology consulting or client-facing solution delivery experience.
• Experience contributing to or owning solution architecture and design decisions.
• Understanding of API gateways and service mesh architectures.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Awareness of AI and Generative AI capabilities to improve engineering productivity and delivery.
