Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise application design, development, and implementation using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot microservices.
• Drive architecture, solution design, code quality, developer mentoring, and collaboration across product, architecture, business analysis, and QA teams.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrations; build containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Coordinate frontend integration with ReactJS or Angular/JavaScript teams and develop SQL/NoSQL database solutions, including PostgreSQL or CouchDB.
• Implement Kafka messaging and event-driven architectures and support unit, integration, and automation testing.
• Participate in architecture discussions, estimates, sprint planning, and release management; manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Drive CI/CD practices and cloud-native deployments on Azure or AWS; promote coding standards, security, and performance optimization.

Required experience

• At least 8 years of hands-on Java application development experience; the posting also states 9+ years overall and lists 7 years of Java experience as required.
• Strong Spring Boot microservices experience, Docker and Kubernetes experience, and hands-on experience with Azure or AWS.
• Experience with API gateways and authentication, SQL/NoSQL database design and optimization, and Agile/Scrum.
• Proven technical team leadership and complex software project delivery; the posting lists 2 years of team-lead experience as required.
• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.

Preferred qualifications

• Cloud-native architecture and distributed systems experience are preferred.
• Exposure to DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices is preferred.
• Certifications in Java, AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes are an added advantage.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is up to ₹4,000,000 per year.
• Benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund.
