What We Are Looking For

Tealium is seeking a Technical Lead, Implementation Engineer to join our Professional Services team.

In this customer-facing role, you will help organizations unlock value from Tealium s product suite through technical implementation, strategic consulting, and solution architecture.

Acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, you will lead complex implementations, solve technical challenges, and drive measurable customer outcomes across enterprise environments.

We re looking for a strategic and highly resourceful technical leader who can operate independently, leverage AI and modern tools effectively, and drive execution in fast-moving customer environments.

Success in this role requires strong ownership, problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, adaptability, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration across customers and internal teams.

You will regularly engage with customers across the EMEA/MENA region, building trusted relationships and accelerating the adoption of Tealium s solutions while partnering closely with regional stakeholders and our UK-based EMEA team.

Please note that this is a Professional Services role, not a Software Engineering role.

The ideal candidate will be located in or near Dubai to facilitate regular on-site collaboration with prospects and customers, as well as regional travel.

Implementation & Technical Delivery

  • Lead the hands-on technical configuration, deployment, and validation of Tealium (iQ, AudienceStream, EventStream, DataAccess, Insights, and all other products) for customers. This is primarily an in-product (GUI) configuration.
  • During implementation and project delivery, maintain a regular on-site presence to ensure visibility and customer engagement.
  • Write and debug performant, scalable JavaScript for tag management, data layer enrichment, and server-side functions
  • Troubleshoot front-end issues, including JavaScript tags, APIs, mobile SDKs, and network-level data discrepancies.
  • Implement best-practice data strategies for event tracking, user identity resolution, customer data visualisations, segmentation building, and audience activation.
  • Participate in peer reviews, team stand-ups, and cross-functional projects within the broader Professional Services and Solutions Engineering teams.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, resourcefulness, and accountability across customer engagements by operating independently, leveraging AI and modern tools/workflows effectively, applying data-driven decision making, continuously adapting to evolving technologies, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive measurable customer and business outcomes.

What You Bring To Tealium

  • Required:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with Tealium s full product suite (iQ, AudienceStream, EventStream, DataAccess) or similar Digital Marketing technology
  • 5+ years experience in a client-facing, technical implementation, solutions engineering, or Martech consulting role.
  • Ability to travel regionally to support customers and business operations.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web debugging tools (Postman, Chrome DevTools, Proxies (Charles/Fiddler), etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data layers, tag management systems, and event-based architecture.
  • Experience with digital marketing and analytics platforms: Adobe Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Amplitude, etc.
  • Experience with Journey Orchestration, Marketing Orchestration tools, e.g. SFMC, Braze, AEP, Bloomreach and MoEngage.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, server-side tracking, mobile SDKs, and data enrichment concepts.
  • Exposure to privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) and consent management platforms.
  • Experience working with data warehouses, SQL, or BI platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working with dashboarding and visualisation platforms (e.g. Amazon Quicksight)
  • Excellent communication skills fluent in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated, especially when working remotely across time zones.
