Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience delivering cloud‐based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proven track record managing medium‐to‐large technical projects and teams.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, containers, and serverless technologies.
  • Hands‐on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PMI‐ACP) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root‐cause resolution.
  • Security and compliance awareness (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • US work authorization and willingness to travel up to 20% domestically.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor cloud engineering projects from inception to production.
  • Coordinate cross‐functional teams including architects, developers, QA, and operations.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Bristlecone’s technical standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff, promoting best practices.
  • Collaborate with sales and client teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive adoption of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices across projects.
  • Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues in cloud environments.
  • Report on project health metrics and contribute to strategic roadmap planning.
