Technical HSE Engineer -Oil & Gas

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop hazardous area schedules in accordance with **EI 15**
• Prepare **Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)** drawings, including plans and side views
• Review and interpret **P&IDs**, Heat & Material Balances, and MSDS-related hazard information
• Prepare firefighting and safety equipment layouts for offshore facilities
• Develop escape, evacuation, and safety signage layouts
• Ensure compliance with **NFPA 497**, Shell DEP v45, DEM1 V46, and QatarEnergy offshore standards
• Coordinate effectively with draftsmen to ensure accurate technical layouts and documentation
• Deliver assigned work within project schedules and deadlines
• Prepare technical reports and communicate project updates proactively

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 7–10 years of experience in Technical Safety / HSE Engineering
• Proven experience in offshore oil & gas facilities
• Strong knowledge of-EI 15, NFPA 497, Shell DEP v45, DEM1 V46, QatarEnergy offshore standards
• Experience preparing-HAC drawings, Firefighting layouts, Escape & evacuation layouts, and Safety signage layouts
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering documents and process drawings
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Proactive attitude with strong accountability and time management
