Overview

The role is based in Dubai, UAE.

What you will do

  • You will guide customers through technical discussions up to sales closure, working with stakeholders ranging from mechanics to senior managers.
  • You will proactively initiate sales-driven technical conversations to identify the best product solutions and conduct targeted sales trainings.
  • Your responsibilities also include handling technical claims and supporting trade shows to strengthen market presence.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: What We Look For
  • Professional
  • qualification in a technical, engineering (
  • or commercial
  • ) field
  • Several years of experience in a sales and/or
  • technical role within the automotive industry
  • , combined with exposure to and
  • cultural understanding of African markets
  • , ideally within the automotive sector
  • Solid technical background including
  • strong technical knowledge
  • of cars and preferably
  • batteries
  • Automotive, Commercial vehicle or Bus and Coach
  • technical training experience
  • Experience with training technologies such as webinars, social media tools
  • Self-starter, able to organize own appointments and develop technical discussions into sales opportunities
  • Commercial acumen
  • Full Driving License and willingness to travel flexibly across a wide area
  • Fluency in English and French is a must

  • Team player and cultural sensitivity
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking using logic and reason as well as creative and strategic
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry
