Technical Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist with shop drawings, as-built drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection and test plans, and technical documentation.
• Obtain product technical data, certificates, specifications, warranties, and other required documents from suppliers and manufacturers.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material requirements for compliance.
• Track submissions and approvals; follow up with consultants, clients, suppliers, and internal teams on pending items and technical comments.
• Maintain project records and assist with comment responses and document revisions.
• Coordinate with procurement, estimation, and site teams; support O&M manuals, warranties, and project handover documents.
• Perform other technical and administrative duties assigned by the Technical Manager.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Understanding of technical documentation and document control procedures.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; able to coordinate with stakeholders and meet submission deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to learn about flooring, carpets, curtains, blinds, and interior fit-out materials.

Pay

• Pay is up to AED 5,000 per month.
