About This Role

We are looking for skilled and motivated Technical Assistants to join our events technology team for a short-term project in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidates will support the setup, installation, and maintenance of IT and networking infrastructure during large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of Wi-Fi Access Points (APs) across event sites.
- Perform structured cabling work, including CAT6/optic fiber installations and terminations.
- Support CCTV camera installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in network setup, configuration, and monitoring (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, access points).
- Support network management and design implementation under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Provide on-site technical support during events to ensure smooth operations and connectivity.
- Help in equipment inventory management, labeling, and documentation.
- Ensure all installations adhere to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Networking, or related technical field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in network installation, event IT setups, or similar technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, APs) and CCTV systems.
- Basic understanding of network design, IP addressing, and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to work long hours and flexible schedules during event periods.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE experience and valid UAE residency or work visa is an advantage.
