Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support the technical development, coordination, and execution of luxury residential projects from design stage through to site completion.

The role is responsible for ensuring approved design intent is accurately translated into coordinated technical documentation and delivered to the highest quality standards on site.

· Review architectural and interior technical drawings for coordination, accuracy, and buildability

· Ensure technical documentation aligns with approved design intent and project requirements

· Review detailed construction information, including bespoke architectural details, interior detailing, and material interfaces

· Identify technical conflicts, inconsistencies, and missing information within drawing packages

· Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues

· Review and approve shop drawings prior to fabrication and installation

· Support the development and maintenance of drawing standards and technical detailing across projects

· Review bespoke joinery shop drawings and fabrication details

· Coordinate directly with joinery subcontractors and specialist suppliers

· Verify dimensions, materials, hardware integration, proportions, and functionality of bespoke elements

· Ensure bespoke and custom-designed elements are technically resolved before production

· Review mock-ups, samples, and installations to ensure quality and accuracy

· Review and approve material submissions against approved design intent

· Assess materials for quality, finish consistency, suitability, and application

· Conduct regular site inspections and technical reviews to monitor construction quality and detailing execution

· Issue technical comments and clarification sketches where required

· Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to resolve technical and construction issues

· Support snagging, final inspections, and project handover stages

· Work closely with the Design Manager, architects, interior designers, consultants, and external specialists throughout project delivery

· Degree in Architecture or a related field

· Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a Technical Architect or similar role

· Experience working on luxury residential or high-end design projects

· Previous experience in design-and-build environments preferred

· Strong experience reviewing detailed construction drawings and shop drawing packages

· Strong knowledge of construction detailing, bespoke joinery, and luxury residential finishes

· Site coordination and quality control experience is essential

· Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and technical execution

· Familiarity with QA/QC standards and HSE regulations

· Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office applications

· Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet project deadlines
