- An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers.
- As a trusted advisor you’ll have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology.
- You’ll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services.
- You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy.
- The close relationships developed with your customers will allow you to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
- Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the most iconic businesses in the country.
- These range from rising startups building their business from scratch through to large enterprises going through significant transformation.
- You’ll provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project, and launch planning as well as ongoing operational issues.
- AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments.
- Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services, upskill with AWS Training and Certification, optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services, and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services.
- Our expertise and emerging technologies include AWS Partners, AWS Sovereign Cloud, AWS International Product, and the Generative AI Innovation Center.
- You’ll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.
- Key job responsibilities
- You’ll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
- Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
- Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
- Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
- Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives
- Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
- With a bias for action, you'll proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
- Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
- Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and other enablement sessions.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
- Experience in technical engineering
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
- Arabic language proficiency
