Kurmi is an international technology company that develops software solutions that automate provisioning and management of users on Unified Communications (UC), collaboration and contact center systems.
Our centralized software (SaaS) platform named Flow allows enterprises and large organizations to manage large user populations on UC systems with required governance, integrated with other related IT systems, and with the efficiency of end-to-end workflow automation.
Mostly commonly, Kurmi’s Flow software is used to onboard, management, and offboard users, their licenses and their private data.
Kurmi employs 100 people and serves 180+ large organizations with, in aggregate, over 4 million users worldwide.
Headquartered in Rennes, France, Kurmi has offices in Paris (Boulogne-Billancourt), New York, Dubai, Sydney and Berlin.
Department description
Our EMEA Revenue team is a mix of Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, and CSM profiles.
Our day-to-day activities are focused on driving new customer acquisition and reinforcing our customers’ satisfaction and long-term retention.
Kurmi has built a strong sales framework around sales methodology, pre-sales engagement, channel engagement, and value proposition.
Our offering and capacities are extending to offer additional value to our customers and partners.
Job description and Responsibilities
In this context, Kurmi Software is hiring for a
Engineer (Solution Engineer)
- to join our team in the Middle East (Dubai).
- In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for following activities across multiple technology (e.g.
- Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom, Genesys, …):
- Supporting the Revenue team throughout the entire sales cycle for any technical matters.
- Creating technical presentations and showcasing how products meet client needs.
- Conducting proof of concept (POC) to demonstrate software benefits to customers.
- Preparing and managing responses to tenders (bid management).
- Offering pre-sales technical support and product education.
- Developing integrator/channel partners and providing technical training.
- Helping establish and maintain technical relationships with customers.
- Convincing clients that a product or service best meets their needs.
- Assisting marketing and sales by attending trade shows, conferences, and other major events in the industry.
- Collaborating with product teams and technical experts to continuously enhance the software.
- Providing training and creating support materials for the sales team.
- Supporting Post-Sales by offering ongoing technical support and guidance to customers with CSM teams, optimizing their use of the software.
- Preferred experience
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Strong business & presales experience i.e. Unified Communication, Collaboration, conferencing & UCaaS.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Unified Collaborations industry.
- Minimum 3 years in a technical presale’s organization.
- Engineering in Computer Sciences, Software or equivalent relevant experience.
Competencies & Softskills
- Handle technical and customer relationships.
- Languages required: Arabic, English
- Good knowledge of “traditional” voice communications systems and applications.
- Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes.
- Thrive in a fast-paced business environment with customer interaction, deadlines, and high-value expectations.
- Work effectively with multiple customers from different region.
- Strong Technical Proficiency with Cisco UC (UCM, WebEx, among others) or Microsoft UC (O365, MS Teams), Linux OS, Global knowledge of Networks / Telecom, Web Systems, and architectures.
- Ability to discuss Business Objectives, timelines and ROI with customers.
- Ability to deploy proof of concept from end to end.
- Good knowledge of the UC ecosystems and UC&C partners’ market.
- Independent, Proactive, Curious, Customer and Solution-focused, Very Organized.
