Tech Ops Builder (Generalist)

We exist to lift as many people up the socioeconomic ladder as possible. We dramatically improve lives by letting professionals turn extra time and ambition into career growth and financial opportunity. We achieve this with our app-based marketplace that connects workplaces and professionals, allowing professionals to book on-demand shifts and workplaces to access on-demand talent.

Clipboard is a fast-growing Series C marketplace. We are a leader in our Long Term Care vertical and are expanding into several others (Dental Offices, Schools, etc). We are a YC Top Company with a global, remote team of 700+ people. We have been profitable since 2022, and fill millions of shifts annually at partner workplaces across the US, where tens of thousands of professionals work with us every year. We are looking for your help to keep growing so we can serve more professionals and workplaces. To learn more about us, take a look at our website here .

📍 Remote - U.S. Locations This role is hiring remotely across the United States with the option to work in a hybrid forum for candidates in the Seattle area. We’re hiring builders to own the technical delivery of our AI-powered operational tooling stack and Zendesk ecosystem as we expand into broader business systems across the organization.

We're building an enterprise-grade operational technology platform for our internal Ops at a $1.3B marketplace that processes hundreds of thousands of shifts annually. Our AI tooling is automating core agent workflows. We need someone to own the technical build of the operational tech foundation — starting with our Zendesk ecosystem and expanding into broader business systems as you prove impact. If you've built core systems from zero and want to do it again at scale, this is the role. What matters more than your level is whether you've built something from scratch and can go five levels deep explaining how it works.
