Role overview

Lead Java application development and guide a team of Java developers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Java developers in software application design and development.
  • Provide technical guidance on Java development best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and uphold coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Stay current with Java technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications and required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master's degree in Software Engineering.
  • Required skills: Agile methodology, Apache Kafka, Core Java, Java APIs, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Java web development, and Scala.
  • English is required at proficient C2 level.
  • Oracle Certified Java Associate certification is listed.
