Job Purpose

Role Details

Job Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native microservices using DDD and TDD principles with REST API development.
• Deliver software through agile development within a DevSecOps environment.
• Design performant, resilient, and highly available services across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Create, maintain, test, and debug backend applications while collaborating with engineering and testing teams.
• Translate user stories into scalable technical solutions and implement services for business functions.
• Use service-oriented architecture patterns including Saga, circuit breaker, CQRS, and event-driven designs.
• Apply reliability, scalability, and consistency practices including fault tolerance, load balancing, caching, retries, and locking.
• Deploy cloud deliverables with advanced monitoring, debugging, and tracing capabilities.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area is required.
• Eight to eleven years of design and development experience across multiple platforms and functional domains is required.
• At least three years of experience building and consuming cloud-native microservices using agile methodology is required.
• Financial domain experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Key areas include architecture, cloud-native development, agile practice, microservices, and API gateways.
• Backend development may use Java, GoLang, Spring Boot, or Node.js for RESTful web services.
• Relevant technologies include Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, middleware, and streaming systems.
• Testing experience includes TDD or ADD and automation tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium, Jasmine, KarmaRunner, and Blazemeter or JMeter.
• Cloud scaling, containerization, Kubernetes, and service mesh infrastructure experience are required.
• Basic front-end understanding includes HTML5 and CSS3.
