Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise data integration . 4+ years of experience with Python, SQL, data transformation, and large-scale data processing . 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud-based data services . 3+ years of experience with Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms . Core Technical Skills Programming: Python, SQL Data Processing: Spark, PySpark Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake ETL/ELT: Data Ingestion, Transformation, Integration Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP Data Architecture: Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse Orchestration: Airflow, Databricks Workflows or similar Streaming: Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hubs or Pub/Sub Development: Git, CI/CD, Automated Testing Data Quality: Validation, Reconciliation, Profiling & Monitoring Nice to Have Experience with AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Dataflow . Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse. Strong knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling. Experience with CDC, SCD Type 1/2, schema evolution, and incremental data processing . Experience developing high-volume streaming pipelines using Kafka or similar technologies. Knowledge of dbt and modern ELT development practices. Experience implementing data quality and observability frameworks. Understanding of data governance, lineage, metadata management, and security. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines, feature engineering, embeddings, or vector data is an advantage. Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, or other enterprise environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
