Role overview

Project HSE leadership

• Lead project HSE audits, close findings promptly, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate project-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement remedial measures.
• Lead or participate in HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessments, impact assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in line with ALARP principles and ADNOC requirements; review project changes through MOC.
• Establish assurance processes for deliverables, equipment, materials, and services before installation, commissioning, or handover.
• Coordinate HSE inputs across engineering, quality, procurement, and project teams.
• Implement HSE policies and procedures, monitor project KPIs, and support HSE budget planning and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10 to 12 years of oil and gas experience.
• Strong project HSE management expertise across the project lifecycle, from assessment through execution.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE standards, Codes of Practice, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in risk management and safety studies, including HAZID, HAZOP, and ALARP.
• Experience in contractor HSE management and interface coordination in EP/EPC/EPCM environments.
• Leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

• The role is on-site in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
