Minimum Qualifications

  • Education
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Understanding of warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate, and support a team of warehouse employees.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse organization.
  • Familiarity with shipping documents, bills of lading, and receiving paperwork.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, with assistance or equipment when necessary.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on operational requirements.
  • Required use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all warehouse safety procedures.
  • Performance Expectations
  • Support accurate and timely shipping and receiving operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with employees and management.
  • Promote a safe and productive working environment.
  • Ensure daily assignments are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support inventory accuracy and minimize shipping and receiving errors.
  • Demonstrate accountability, initiative, and professional leadership.
  • Assist management in meeting operational goals and customer expectations.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving operations preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Team Lead or leadership role preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment preferred; company authorization and training required before operation.
