PULSE NOVA, the joint venture between EDGE and INDRA, is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to drive the development of advanced defense and mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of software engineers in the design and development of mission-critical defense applications
- Define team objectives, assign responsibilities, and track progress against milestones
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with defense quality standards (NATO AQAP, MIL-STD)
- Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional leaders to align with program objectives
- Drive adoption of software best practices, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement
- Manage integration of software with hardware, RF, radar, and test systems
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and innovation in embedded systems
- Ensure robust documentation and support for certification processes
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ in leadership roles
- Strong embedded programming expertise (C/C++), Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with real-time programming and communication protocols (TCP/IP, MODBUS, SNMP)
- Proven record in delivering complex defense projects
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Knowledge of military-grade documentation and certification processes
