Responsibilities

  • Welcome and onboard professional drivers to Werner Enterprises, introducing them to the Team Development process
  • Manage a portfolio of professional drivers, supporting them in finding a compatible team driving partner
  • Facilitate conversations around key teaming factors such as home time preferences, compensation expectations, and adjustment to life on the road
  • Build relationships with professional drivers through direct interaction, helping them navigate teaming decisions and contributing to long-term retention and satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to engage with people in a respectful and engaging manner
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive or personal conversations
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a collaborative team
