Teacher of History (Secondary)

Plan and deliver outstanding History lessons to both boys and girls classes in Middle School (G6-8) and High School (G9-12).

Ensure high quality education, attainment and progress for all students.

Track, monitor, evaluate and review student progress, achievement and attainment.

Promote methods that enable all students to learn effectively.

Make learning relevant by connecting History to real-world contexts.

Use creative and effective teaching styles to engage and motivate students.

Use assessment for learning strategies to personalize and accelerate learning.

Take responsibility for short, medium and long-term curriculum planning.

Support the acquisition of key English language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Apply strategies to meet the needs of all learners including Higher/Lower attaining students, EAL, SEN, Emirati and G&T pupils.
