About This Role
Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Design & Technology teacher to join our dynamic department at Repton Dubai.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who will play a leading role in delivering our IB Design & Technology curriculum while also teaching across Key Stages 3-5, and possibly A Level.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Design & Technology across KS3-5, including IB and A Level pathways
- Utilize our state-of-the-art facilities, including laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC routers
- Deliver engaging Design & Technology Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) to further enhance the subject's profile and inspire students beyond the classroom
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the department and wider school community
- Contribute proactively to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Maintain high expectations and drive excellent student outcomes
Essential Requirements- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or a directly related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification teaching experience
- **Experience & Skills**
- Demonstrated track record of achieving high-level results in examinations
- Proficiency in CAD software and ability to integrate digital design tools into teaching
- Experience teaching across KS3-5, including A Level
