Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes creativity, exploration, and active learning
- Use positive behavior management strategies to support children's social-emotional development
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and developmental milestones
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to build strong, supportive partnerships
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- CDA (Required) or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (Preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
