Tax Manager

• to oversee the organization's tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities.
• The ideal candidate will manage direct and indirect tax obligations, develop tax strategies, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and provide expert guidance on tax-related matters that support business objectives.
• 🚀 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
• Manage corporate tax, indirect tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and other applicable tax obligations
• Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of tax returns, filings, and statutory reports
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international tax laws, regulations, and reporting standards
• Conduct tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency while maintaining full regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, operations, procurement, and business teams on tax-related matters and business transactions
• Manage tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and communications with tax authorities and external advisors
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization, recommending appropriate actions
• Review contracts, business structures, and financial transactions to identify tax risks and planning opportunities
• Maintain accurate tax documentation, internal controls, and supporting records for audit and compliance purposes
• Prepare tax reports, forecasts, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
• ✅ Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CTA, CA, ADIT, or equivalent are highly advantageous
• 5+ years of experience in corporate taxation, tax advisory, public accounting, or tax compliance roles
• 2+ years of experience managing tax functions, tax teams, or enterprise tax programs preferred
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, international taxation, transfer pricing, and applicable tax regulations
• Experience with ERP systems, tax reporting software, financial systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, report writing, and stakeholder management abilities
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidential financial information
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
