Full-time Tax Manager role in Dubai, UAE.
The role advises clients, manages tax engagements, and ensures regulatory compliance, with emphasis on UAE taxation and external audit.
Candidates must currently be located in the UAE; face-to-face interviews are mandatory.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage and review VAT and Corporate Tax registrations, filings, and returns.
- Handle FTA audits, assessments, objections, and clarifications.
- Advise on tax planning, tax structuring, and compliance strategies; ensure FTA compliance and meet deadlines.
- Prepare and review tax computations and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage control actions, apply IFRS standards, and oversee external audit engagements.
Required experience and qualifications
- At least 7–10 years of UAE taxation and external auditing experience, including at least two years as a UAE Tax Agent.
- Hands-on knowledge of UAE VAT law and executive regulations, UAE Corporate Tax Law, and FTA audit handling and compliance.
- Understanding of UAE commercial laws and regulatory frameworks; experience in tax advisory and external audit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, client communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- CA, CPA, or UAE Corporate Tax Diploma is highly preferred; Arabic-speaking ability is highly preferred.
