Job purpose
Support the Competent Authority’s obligations for Exchange of Information on Request (EOIR), Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI), and treaty-based cooperation.
Process information exchange requests in accordance with international standards, domestic laws and regulations, and approved procedures.
Responsibilities
- Screen information exchange requests for legal and procedural compliance, including foreseeable relevance, request scope, and confidentiality.
- Prepare draft responses and supporting documentation for review and approval.
- Process requests from foreign competent authorities under Double Taxation Agreements, Tax Information Exchange Agreements, and multilateral agreements.
- Contribute to turnaround-time and quality performance indicators.
- Follow confidentiality, data protection, and information security requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and local authorities to obtain information within timelines.
- Maintain case records, audit trails, and statistics for reporting.
- Support other EOIR and information exchange operations and assigned duties.
Professional certifications
- The posting lists a Certified Professional Qualification in Market Risk, CPA, CTP, UAE VAT Compliance Diploma, and Certified Professional Compliance Certificate.
