Role Overview:

As a Tax Professional (EA / CPA) in a remote, contract role, you will join one of our clients, a global leader in the financial services industry, to directly impact the interpretation and analysis of complex US tax laws. Your expertise will be leveraged to review, interpret, and provide structured feedback on tax statutes and their English translations. This is a contract role, working remotely from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language including conditions, thresholds, and/or logic, and legal exceptions.

• Review and evaluate the English translation of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.

• Provide comprehensive, structured written feedback within a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality output.

• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compliant tax interpretations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in US tax law, including federal and state tax statutes.

• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.

• Excellent written communication and feedback skills.

• Ability to review and evaluate complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and ambiguities.
