Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Tax Accountant
with
1–3 years of UAE experience
in taxation and general accounting.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, tax compliance, and general accounting principles, with the ability to support the company's financial and tax operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Support Corporate Tax compliance and assist with tax calculations and filings.
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and FTA requirements.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and tax documentation.
- Perform general accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Prepare bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments on tax and accounting matters.
- Stay updated on changes in UAE tax regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **1–3 years of UAE experience**
- in Tax, VAT, and General Accounting.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA procedures.
- Basic understanding of UAE Corporate Tax requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Close attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as
ACCA, CPA, CMA
, or a
Uae Vat And Tax Certification
- are an added advantage.
