Role overview
Recruit high-quality candidates for varied positions within GEMS School Management, covering end-to-end recruitment and assigned projects.
Maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships and provide a positive experience for applicants engaging with the business.
Recruitment responsibilities
- Execute targeted recruiting strategies for teaching and non-teaching positions and partner with stakeholders to understand role requirements.
- Manage recruitment from job posting and resume screening through interviews, reference checks, and related tasks.
- Build candidate pipelines using social media, job boards, the ATS, referrals, networking, and other sourcing methods.
- Represent the company at recruitment events and job fairs; work with education colleges and universities to attract graduates for teaching positions.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and applicable local and national regulations.
- Provide candidate and stakeholder service and act as a key candidate contact throughout recruitment.
- Monitor company and broader developments to map recruitment needs.
- Track candidates through each recruitment stage in the ATS and maintain reporting and performance measures against metrics.
Skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Three years' experience in internal Talent Acquisition or a recruitment agency.
- Valid UAE driver's license.
- Education-sector experience is advantageous, not required.
- Strong communication, commercial acumen, and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Commitment to candidate experience and willingness to learn and develop.
- Fluent in English; Arabic-speaking is preferred.
