Testing and Commissioning Manager

• What Are My Responsibilities?
• Define and plan comprehensive T&C strategies for subsystems and integrated systems, including signalling, APS, and SCADA.
• Manage and coordinate all Test & Commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Execute and oversee field testing activities, ensuring systems meet functional and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with the Business Unit to define T&C requirements, acceptance criteria, and compliance obligations.
• Lead coordination meetings with customers, consortium partners, subcontractors, and internal teams to track progress and resolve issues.
• Develop, manage, and maintain all T&C documentation, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee T&C budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective execution.
• Lead and support Test & Commissioning teams, ensuring effective execution of project activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Installation Team to ensure alignment between installation progress and commissioning readiness.
• Provide training and technical guidance to field teams to enhance capability and performance.
• Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with CENELEC standards and V-cycle (V-model) lifecycle processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in T&C activities.
• Document and share lessons learned and best practices across projects.
• Drive innovation in testing methodologies and commissioning approaches.
• What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Railway Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in railway Test & Commissioning projects (Siemens experience is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Signalling, APS, and OEICS (SCADA) systems.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, and managing T&C activities.
• Solid understanding of CENELEC standards and V-cycle lifecycle models.
• Strong leadership, planning, and interface management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex railway projects successfully.
