Supports the Business and IT team with system implementation and support.
Acts as a subject-matter expert for systems and coordinates system changes, releases and updates with business teams and vendors.
The work includes small and large cross-functional changes.
Work arrangement
- Hybrid role based near the Northampton office, with weekly attendance expected.
Hours
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Build expertise in assigned systems and support their end-to-end change lifecycle.
- Facilitate and document workshops; manage the change pipeline and change log with business teams, service desk, developers, training teams and vendors.
- Research and analyse information; document requirements, business rules, processes, procedures and project findings.
- Track support issues, conduct gap and impact analysis, and support UAT planning, testing and issue escalation.
- Support implementation planning and rollout schedules; produce clear documentation for varied audiences.
- Provide SOX, audit and compliance support, including weekly user-access checks and evidence gathering for internal and external auditors.
- Maintain effective relationships with business teams and vendors.
Experience and attributes
- Prior nursery-setting experience is advantageous.
- The role calls for a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, analytical problem-solving and PC literacy.
- Applicants should be comfortable questioning and challenging users, balancing detail with the big picture, and working independently or in a team.
- A flexible, hands-on approach is valued.
