Role overview

How you will create impact

• Lead AI, automation, and process optimization initiatives from concept through deployment.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering effectiveness, quality, and operational efficiency using AI.
• Align engineering, quality, regulatory, and business functions around solution adoption.
• Build and lead communities of practice for AI-enabled work across engineering organizations.
• Drive change through stakeholder engagement, training, communication, and change management.
• Establish adoption, business impact, and return-on-investment metrics.
• Develop responsible AI practices, governance models, and scalable approaches.
• Mentor teams and advise leadership on AI strategy, transformation, and technology adoption.
• Partner with project teams to prioritize and execute high-value AI opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.

Background and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• Five or more years leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience delivering AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation projects with measurable outcomes.
• Experience evaluating and implementing emerging digital technologies and optimization solutions.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and sustained technology adoption.
• Able to explain complex technical concepts and AI opportunities to technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Systems thinking, facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in regulated or complex technical environments is preferred.
• Medical device development, robotics, software-controlled systems, or regulated industry experience is an asset.
• Written and spoken French is an asset.

Workplace

• Hybrid role with a minimum expectation of three days per week in the office.
