Basic Qualifications

  • A BS degree in a science or engineering related field. At least 12 years of engineering experience, including proven success in managing engineering or physics teams and design integration for complex first-of-a-kind equipment. Experience coordinating technical work with sponsors, vendors, partners, and project team members. Must be available for some domestic and international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20+ years of engineering experience including 5+ years of management and integration experience. Previous leadership experience within a complex engineering environment, preferably on a large DOE project. Experience leading engineering design and configuration management processes. Knowledge of DOE project management requirements. Experience with neutron science or accelerator-based projects. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
