What You Will Do

  • The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer II to plan and execute complex integration and verification test events. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in system integration and testing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge missile defense technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • This is an onsite entry level role located in Andover, Tewksbury, Woburn, Marlborough MA or Pelham, NH
  • Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
  • Experience with tools, such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB or Python, for data analysis and automation
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • Qualifications We Prefer
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, with coursework in RF electronics
  • Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
  • Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred
  • Experience with using telemetry data collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time monitoring
  • Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

  • The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
  • Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
