Job Purpose
To serve as a Senior Systems Engineer responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure system infrastructure that directly supports products and services within the Wireless Industry.
This role is critical for optimizing the Linux OS and underlying infrastructure (including Cloud, Virtualization, and Clustering), managing core networking protocols, and leveraging automation to continuously enhance system performance, security, and the highest level of service availability.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Scalable Systems: Architect and deploy highly reliable, scalable, and secure system infrastructure supporting all products and services in the wireless domain.
- Linux System Optimization: Perform advanced Linux OS Administration (Redhat/CentOS focus), including kernel fine-tuning and OS parameter optimization for peak performance and security.
- Virtualization & Cloud Management: Manage and maintain environments across virtualization platforms (KVM, VMWare, OpenStack) and major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, MS Azure).
- Networking Protocol Configuration: Configure and manage critical networking and telecom protocols, including TCP/IP, RADIUS, DNS, and DHCP.
- Clustering & High Availability: Implement and manage cluster technologies (DRBD, Pacemaker, HAProxy, Galera) to ensure fault tolerance and system redundancy.
- Automation & Configuration Management: Develop and maintain automation and configuration management code using Bash, Python, Perl, and tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Monitoring & Telemetry Stack: Manage and maintain the TICK or TICG monitoring stack for comprehensive system health visibility and performance metric analysis.
- Web & Data Layer Management: Configure, secure, and manage core web servers (NGINX, Apache, Tomcat) and relational/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB).
- Performance and Security Improvement: Continuously monitor, analyze, and implement proactive measures to improve overall system performance, reliability, and security compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, QA, and product managers to ensure infrastructure solutions meet quality standards and support efficient product deployment.

Education
- /Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information TechnologyExperience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, with extensive background specifically within the Wireless IndustryTechnical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Linux OS Administration (specifically Redhat/CentOS) and kernel-level performance tuning.
- Solid experience with major virtualization platforms (KVM, VMWare, OpenStack) and public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong practical understanding and configuration experience with TCP/IP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, GTP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, and Perl.
Experience
- with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack).
- Strong understanding of clustering technologies (Pacemaker, DRBD, Galera) and load balancing (HAProxy).
- Solid experience managing and configuring web servers (NGINX, Apache, Tomcat) and databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB).
- Practical experience with the TICK or TICG stack for centralized system monitoring and metric analysis.
