- Strong expertise migrating Windows/Linux workloads with VMware VCAF, including the latest and N-2 versions.
- Active Directory setup and migration, FSMO, Group Policy, and CIS-based security hardening.
- MSSQL clustering, database migration and troubleshooting, application connectivity, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
Site activities
- Provision and configure application-compliant VMs using the latest operating-system golden-image templates.
- Provision VMs from inventory, including Active Directory and production and development database cluster servers.
- Migrate Active Directory services, database services, and existing virtual appliances; apply security hardening and fix vulnerabilities.
- Set up file and block storage, plus SIEM, PAM, and monitoring/logging services and integrations.
- Schedule and execute cutovers, support go-live and hypercare, and hand over environments for customer application installation.
Cloud security and disaster recovery
- Configure cloud security and network settings and protect VMs and database clusters with disaster recovery.
- Provision disaster-recovery application VMs and conduct DR drills and testing.
- Prepare a disaster-recovery runbook.
