Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site System Administrator role based in Riyadh.
- The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and managing IT systems, monitoring network performance, performing system updates, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- The role involves providing technical support for hardware and software installation, ensuring network security, and optimizing system reliability.
- Collaboration with IT teams to implement and execute IT strategies is also a core component of the role.
- Administer and support
Microsoft Exchange Server
(On-Prem) and
Microsoft 365
- (Exchange Online).
- Manage and maintain
Active Directory
- including user provisioning, group policies, and access control.
- Deploy, configure, and manage endpoints using
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- .
- Perform patch management using
Ivanti Patch Management
- to ensure systems are up to date and secure.
- Manage mobile devices and enforce security policies via
MobileIron
- .
- Support IT service management processes using tools from
BMC Software
or
ManageEngine
- .
- Administer email archiving and compliance solutions such as
Veritas Technologies
- (Enterprise Vault) and Microsoft Archiving.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of IT services.
- Implement security best practices and compliance policies across systems.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–9 years of experience in system administration or similar role.
- Strong experience with:
- Exchange On-Prem & Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online)
• SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager)
- Patch management tools (Ivanti or similar)
- Mobile Device Management (MobileIron or equivalent)
- Knowledge of ITSM tools (BMC Remedy / ManageEngine).
- Experience in email archiving, retention policies, and compliance.
- Good understanding of networking basics and security principles.
