Responsibilities

  • Administer Nutanix AHV clusters, including VM provisioning, patching, capacity planning, and cluster health.
  • Manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory, including server builds, patching, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and replication health.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers running RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
  • Own Veeam backup and restore operations, including job configuration, restore testing, retention, and DR readiness.
  • Manage Azure infrastructure, including VMs, storage, networking, backup, and cost governance, and support a small Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) footprint.
  • Maintain infrastructure monitoring in PRTG, including sensors, thresholds, alerting, and dashboards.
  • Automate provisioning, patching, and reporting using PowerShell or Python.
  • Manage incidents, requests, changes, and problems in line with ITIL practices and agreed SLAs, and maintain runbooks and documentation.
  • Participate in maintenance windows, upgrades, and the on-call rotation.
  • Support security hardening and vulnerability remediation across server and cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in server and cloud infrastructure administration.
  • Production experience with Nutanix AHV.
  • Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration skills.
  • Working knowledge of Linux server administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, including restores and DR drills.
  • Monitoring experience with PRTG or an equivalent tool.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Azure infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and backup.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
  • ITIL certification and experience working in an ITIL-aligned environment.
  • Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Citrix.
  • Exposure to VMware, OCI, or cloud migration projects.
  • Experience with FreshService or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE).
  • Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Citrix.
  • Exposure to VMware, OCI, or cloud migration projects.
  • Experience with FreshService or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE).
  • Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
