Role Description
The Sustainability Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site work at the Private Office and the flexibility to work from home for designated tasks.
The role involves developing and implementing the office’s sustainability strategy across investment, operational, and philanthropic activities.
Key responsibilities include designing and monitoring sustainability KPIs, leading sustainability reporting, and ensuring alignment with relevant international frameworks and local regulations.
The Sustainability Manager will conduct research and analysis on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) trends, assess sustainability risks and opportunities, and present clear recommendations to leadership.
The role also includes coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing concise sustainability communications and briefings, and supporting the integration of sustainable development principles into new projects and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Corporate Sustainability and Sustainable Development, with experience designing or implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience with Sustainability Reporting, including familiarity with leading frameworks and standards.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate data, assess ESG risks and opportunities, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and briefings for senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, public policy, or a related field.
- Experience working in or with family offices, investment entities, or similar high-level organizations is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Professional proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are beneficial.
