Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Oversee greenhouse-gas emissions data, reporting systems, and analytical products.
• Enhance data pipelines, automation, and sustainability data architecture with data engineering teams.
• Write specifications, review data models, and oversee code quality for pipelines and dashboards.
• Maintain data governance, quality assurance, and a reliable single source of truth.
• Build monthly reporting dashboards and analytics tools for carbon-reduction insights.
• Support carbon-footprint calculations and coordinate external data audits.
• Align stakeholders, drive tool adoption, and support change management.
• Line manage and develop a Sustainability Senior Analyst.

Must-have experience

• At least 6 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or related technical operational roles.
• Hands-on modern data-stack experience, including tools such as Snowflake, dbt, or Airflow.
• Strong SQL and Python fluency and advanced visualization experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience writing technical specifications, reviewing code or data models, and supporting engineering workflows.
• Ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders, communicate clearly, and manage priorities.

Nice-to-have experience

• Exposure to BCG systems such as SAP, Workday, or ChromeRiver.
• Knowledge of JIRA or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of greenhouse-gas accounting principles and assurance procedures.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and advanced Excel or statistical analysis.
