Sustainability Data & Analytics Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee internal GHG emissions data, reporting systems, and analytical products.
• Partner with data engineering teams to improve pipelines, automation, and sustainability data architecture.
• Write functional and technical specifications, review data models, and oversee code quality for pipelines and dashboards.
• Maintain end-to-end data governance, quality assurance, and a reliable single source of truth.
• Build and enhance monthly reporting dashboards and analytics tools for carbon-reduction insights.
• Support annual carbon footprint calculations and coordinate external audits of GHG emissions data.
• Align stakeholder requirements, drive reporting-tool adoption, and support change management.
• Line manage a Senior Analyst and provide coaching, direction, and growth opportunities.

Must-Have Experience

• 6+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, BI, or related technical operational roles.
• Hands-on experience with modern data-stack tools, such as Snowflake, dbt, or Airflow.
• Strong SQL and Python fluency.
• Advanced data visualization capability, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience writing technical specifications, reviewing code or data models, and supporting engineering workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and project management experience.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Exposure to BCG systems including SAP, Workday, or ChromeRiver.
• Knowledge of JIRA or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of GHG accounting principles and assurance procedures.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and practices.
• Advanced Excel or statistical analysis skills.
