About This Role

The role assists the Head of Sustainability and external consultants in integrating sustainability principles into operations, reporting, governance, and awareness initiatives.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Support sustainability framework projects and coordinate with external consultants
  • Assist in developing sustainability policies, procedures, and governance structures
  • Maintain project timelines, deliverables, and documentation
  • Coordinate sustainability committee and working group meetings
  • Collect, verify, and manage ESG-related data across departments
  • Prepare QCB disclosures, internal progress reports, and external communications
  • Support presentations and documents for senior management and regulators
  • Serve as a central point of contact for sustainability matters within the Bank
  • Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, regulators, and auditors
  • Promote sustainability awareness through workshops, sessions, and internal communications
  • Draft and edit reports, memos, and presentations in Arabic and English
  • Integrate sustainability and climate-related risk considerations into risk management
  • Track sustainability KPIs and follow up on progress

3. Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Social Sciences, or related fields
  • Professional certifications in sustainability, ESG, or climate risk are desirable

Experience:

  • Preferred: 2–5 years in sustainability, ESG reporting, corporate responsibility, or risk management in banking, consulting, or corporate settings
  • Acceptable: Candidates with limited experience but strong aptitude, language skills, and motivation

Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent Arabic and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive
  • High ethical standards and professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data analysis

Additional Requirement:

  • Must hold a valid Qatar ID (QID)
