Main Duties
- Your key responsibilities will include:
- Showcase proficiency in all kitchen sections, continuously developing your practical and leadership skills to support the team effectively
- Ensure all sections are prepared for service, maintaining Zuma’s reputation for quality, consistency, and creativity
- Oversee the proper preparation, storage, and handling of food, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
- Monitor kitchen costs and budgets, taking proactive steps to reduce expenditure and improve efficiency where necessary
- Minimize waste by supervising deliveries and food preparation, ensuring the best use of ingredients
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment of growth, communication, and feedback, while reporting progress to senior kitchen staff
