As a ROKA Sushi Commis Chef, you'll be at the heart of our guest experience.

You'll create memorable moments, embody our vibrant restaurant energy, and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards that define the Roka experience.

ROKA is a collection of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurants.

First launched in 2004 in London, our collection has grown to include five venues in the Middle East in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Bahrain & Kuwait.

ROKA embodies the spirit of coming together and sharing a collective dining experience, (RO) symbolises the atmosphere and (KA), the heat of fire from the Robata.

Main Duties

  • Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assist in the preparation of sushi ingredients, including cutting fish, preparing vegetables, and portioning ingredients, to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Support the sushi team with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring all dishes are prepared to brand standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, while adhering to all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Consistently strive for quality of service and maintain excellence and consistency in the experience delivered to our guests.
