Team Fishel , the Best Choice for Utility Engineering and Construction, is hiring a Survey Party Chief for our Hampton, VA Professional Services Group (PSG) operation. The Survey Party Chief will be responsible for conducting surveys; performing survey duties; supervising the survey crew, and performing related work as required.

Responsibilities

Using GPS equipment to set control, property corner searches, topographic surveys and staking of easements and rights-of-way

Occasional use of Total Station for the above

Schedule maintenance of company assigned vehicle

Communicate with staff on a daily basis

Prepare time sheets on a daily/weekly basis

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

Valid driver's license required

Able to operate and train others in the use of survey equipment including conventional and electronic instruments and computers (hardware and software)

Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills

Although not likely, overnight travel may be required

Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus

Starting pay rate for this position is $28 - $34 / hour depending upon experience.
