Support Worker

Role overview

Day-to-day activities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene and medication administration when required.
• Support meal preparation and cooking, medical appointments, social activities, and independent skills.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keep accurate records, update care plans as required, and keep training up to date.

Candidate requirements

• Work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively, and complete quality support records.
• Follow support plans and risk assessments and maintain customer records.
• Be able to work every other weekend and between 7am and 10:30pm.
• Be literate and numerate in English and willing and able to achieve the Care Certificate.
• No previous care or support experience is required.

Hours and pay

• 30 contracted hours per week, Monday to Sunday, including weekends, days, evenings, holidays, and sleep-ins.
• Salary is £20,846.92 per annum (£13.33 per hour).
