To design, build and support Laserfiche electronic forms, workflows, repositories and integrations that replace existing Nintex solutions while maintaining an effective user experience, robust process automation, secure data handling and compliance with RRSL standards. The role converts business requirements into reliable digital forms, automated approval workflows, structured repositories and application-like data solutions that improve usability, governance and operational efficiency.
1. Rebuild existing Nintex forms in Laserfiche, replicating the current user experience where appropriate while identifying opportunities to simplify and improve legacy designs.
2. Create electronic forms with appropriate layout, field validation, business rules, conditional logic, dynamic sections, tables, repeating sections and mobile-friendly design.
3. Recreate and configure approval processes, task routing, notifications, reminders, escalations and status updates using Laserfiche workflow capability.
4. Automatically name, index, file and generate documents within Laserfiche, including metadata updates, audit trails and process history.
5. Design structured Laserfiche repositories, including metadata fields, folder structures, search configuration, retention controls and governance arrangements.
6. Configure appropriate security models within Laserfiche using users, groups and permissions to ensure compliance with RRSL security requirements.
7. Connect Laserfiche forms and workflows to external systems using APIs, web services, SQL Server databases, database lookups and integration with business applications such as RRSL Learning.
8. Design and maintain supporting database structures including tables, relationships, primary keys, foreign keys, indexing and secure data storage for form data.
9. Create SQL queries to support lookups, validation, reporting, updates and integration with existing RRSL databases, training systems and custom data stores.
10. Facilitate workshops, map business processes, translate requirements into technical designs and test completed forms, workflows and user journeys prior to release.
11. Undertake any other reasonable duties or activities required to support the successful delivery of services to Rolls-Royce and RRSL operational objectives.
1. Practical experience designing and building Laserfiche forms, including field configuration, layout design, conditional fields, validation and dynamic user experiences.
2. Strong understanding of Laserfiche Workflow, including process routing, approvals, task creation, notifications, reminders, escalations, document generation and metadata updates.
3. Good SQL and database knowledge, including tables, relationships, primary keys, foreign keys, indexing, queries, database lookups and integration with SQL Server.
4. Ability to analyse business processes, facilitate workshops, understand existing Nintex forms and translate requirements into clear, efficient Laserfiche solutions.
5. Experience integrating forms and workflows with external systems using APIs, web services, database lookups and application data sources.
6 . Strong attention to security, governance, auditability, retention and data protection when designing repositories, workflows, permissions and data storage.
