Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Supply Chain Manager at Talento a tu medida, based in Abu Dhabi with flexibility to work from home on designated days.
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, supply management, and inventory control to support business and customer requirements.
Daily responsibilities include analyzing demand forecasts, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, monitoring stock levels, and optimizing replenishment strategies to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
The role involves tracking key performance indicators, preparing reports, identifying process improvements, and supporting budget and cost-control initiatives.
The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and commercial teams to ensure timely deliveries, accurate data, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Strong demand planning and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable supply plans.
- Proven experience in supply management and procurement, including vendor coordination, purchase order management, and negotiation of basic terms.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management, including stock monitoring, replenishment planning, and safety stock optimization.
- Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis tools to track KPIs and support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with ERP or supply chain management systems and standard supply chain processes.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a part-time, hybrid setup.
- Experience in the Abu Dhabi or broader GCC market, and knowledge of local suppliers and logistics practices, is an advantage.
