Supply Chain Account Manager

Role overview

What you will do

• Gather raw material pricing and create costed bills of material to support customer quotations.
• Review MRP outputs to assess raw material supply needs.
• Confirm product price and lead time with suppliers.
• Purchase raw materials for production while adhering to material budget requirements.
• Monitor and expedite outstanding purchase orders to meet delivery dates and production schedules.
• Gather data and report supplier performance and other relevant performance indices.
• Follow company and departmental procedures and contribute to improvements when appropriate.
• Build effective working relationships with peers and perform other assignments within the scope of supply chain management.

What you will need

• Profound understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet milestones and regular deadlines.
• At least 5 years in purchasing or a similar role; recent graduates of a related post-secondary Supply Chain Management curriculum may also be considered.

Assets

• Prototype/NPI and low-volume manufacturing experience is an asset.
• A college diploma or bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management is considered an asset.
• APICS, PMAC, or another purchasing/supply-chain qualification or certification is an asset.

Compensation

• The posting lists compensation of $75,000–$90,000 but does not specify a pay period.
