This is a full-time, remote Supplier Sourcing & Procurement role based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The role sources and procures power transmission and industrial products and coordinates purchasing, supply, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for power transmission and industrial products.
- Request and compare quotations; negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and conditions.
- Place and track purchase orders and coordinate with internal teams on material requirements.
- Ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
- Maintain supplier records, monitor inventory, and resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Improve sourcing and procurement processes and interact with suppliers and customers to ensure reliable supply and service.
Qualifications
- Strong supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, and negotiation skills for industrial and power transmission products.
- Procurement, purchase order management, and inventory coordination experience within industrial, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements for products such as pulleys, couplings, gears, sprockets, bearings, seals, and chains.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, ERP or procurement systems, and accurate records and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant experience in industrial supplies or mechanical engineering.
